The first game in the series, Bravely Default, was released in Europe and North America back in 2013 to much critical acclaim. It achieved remarkable success in the West, which is quite a nichè market to crack when it comes to JRPGs – many just fall into obscurity only to receive a Japan-exclusive sequel!
